In 2013, a visionary named Vikrant Dhanji Patel laid the foundation for what would become a design powerhouse – GLOBAL DESIGNERS. In 2018, Karan Patel joined Vikrant Patel as the Co-Founder of Global Designers, driving the firm to remarkable growth under their shared leadership. Karan brought a diverse and highly skilled background, which included expertise in client negotiation, architectural design, project management, and cost estimation. His technical proficiency in softwares has been pivotal in enhancing the firm’s design output and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Karan’s role extended beyond design and technical proficiency, involving key responsibilities such as preparing comprehensive construction drawings and managing construction material procurement. He effectively liaised with contractors, ensuring that projects remained on track and met deadlines without compromising on quality. His hands-on experience also encompassed preparing detailed RFPs (Requests for Proposals), managing contract formation processes, and implementing stringent site safety protocols. Karan’s dedication to delivering superior results was demonstrated through his meticulous site visits and in-depth site analyses, which further contributed to the firm’s reputation for excellence.
Under the joint leadership of Karan and Vikrant, Global Designers embarked on an expansion journey. After establishing the flagship office in Bhuj, the firm opened its first branch in Mumbai, positioning itself as a key player in the global architectural design market. Their leadership and commitment to operational excellence fostered a strong and growing client base, attracting top industry talent and enabling the firm to scale its operations.
Karan’s professional journey was shaped early during his academic career. While pursuing his Bachelor’s in Architecture at the NAAC A++ accredited Parul University, he participated in a prestigious six-month semester exchange program at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Europe. This international exposure deepened his understanding of global construction management practices and fueled his passion for the field. In pursuit of further expertise, Karan moved to the United States in January 2023 to pursue a Master’s in Construction Management at California State University, East Bay. His education there has equipped him with advanced knowledge in project planning, resource optimization, sustainable construction practices, and cutting-edge industry trends.
